Active in the steel industry since 1945, with 14 operative companies and 23 production centres, the Manni group leads the international market for machining steel components, from insulating metal panels for constructions to renewable energy and energy efficiency.
With businesses in over 60 countries, in 2017 it achieved an aggregate turnover of over €570 million, thanks to continuous investments in Research and Development, constant commitment to achieving the highest levels of quality and service and the capacity to combine technology and sustainability.
The Manni Group strategy, in fact, integrates the values of sustainable development and sets itself the goal of growth with full respect for society and the environment, in the knowledge that the business areas in which it operates offer the possibility of making an important contribution to the challenges of the Green & Circular Economy. In 2017, the Group launched the Manni Green Tech start-up company, which brought together the experience of GMH 4.0, a system of green and social housing, developed in collaboration with the Officinae Verdi Group, and the specific know-how associated with light and sustainable pre-fabrication.
The technology developed by Manni Green Tech enables the creation of modular and scalable residential and industrial buildings, and the design and production of lightweight steel structures. The strongdigitalisation of the processes to which the new company aspires, will allow the implementation of flexible systems that adapt to different types of buildings, the design of which will be managed through BIM systems.
“We have taken on board the principles of off-site, digitalisation and innovation shared in the REbuild network – explains Enrico Frizzera, CEO of the Group, based in Verona – imposing a new way of pre-fabricating all the possible components in production factories, promoting a greater industrialisation of pre-fabrication without compromising on quality, efficiency and the sustainability of materials. Integrated static security, comfort and technology: these are the ingredients upon which the Manni Green Tech system is based, which, in the future, will become even more competitive thanks to the research and development results on new materials for advanced insulation packages.”
Manni Green Tech has already launched the set-up of a university campus in Suriname, made up of 4 different multi-storey buildings, erected in just 6 months, in addition to several private homes in Italy, with excellent results in terms of manufacturing precision applied in the building sector, installation speed and, more generally, for scalability. In fact, the flexibility of the system and of the materials used, facilitate buildings that are accessible from an economic and comfort standpoint, as well as being sustainable from an environmental and social point of view.
