Recchi gained her degree in Architecture at Turin Polytechnic in 1982. She attended a specialisation course in Design Management at the New York Pratt Institute and in Project Management, OICE, at Milan Polytechnic. She works with architecture practices Gabetti & Isola (Turin), Rafael Vinoly (New York) and Gino Valle (Udine). In 1984 she worked as project manager for the construction of the World Trade Center (the Office District of San Benigno – Genoa) at the SOM studio (Skidmore, Owing & Merrill), New York branch. From 1985 to 1989 she carried out her professional business as Project Manager for Recchi S.p.A., General Constructions. In 1989, she joined the Board of Directors and Technical Committee of Recchi S.p.A., General Constructions, with responsibility for development of the Real Estate sector. Since 1999 she has been Vice President of Recchi Engineering and Processes Holding, a service company that operates in the Engineering, Real Estate, IT Engineering and Energy Saving sectors. Since 2005 she has been a board member of Proger SpA and since 2009, Chairman of Recchi Engineering, an Engineering Management company wholly owned by Holding. Since 2014 she has been Vice President of Assoimmobiliare; a member of FRICS (Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors); a member of Coordination Advisory Board “Percorso Executive Real Estate” at Milan Polytechnic. She has been a member of the board of Avalon Real Estate S.p.A. and Pininfarina-Recchi Building Design Srl.; Vice President of the Turin Engineers and Architects’ Company; member of the Executive Committee CONSULTA for Turin for the promotion of Artistic and Architectural assets; President of the Executive Committee of FIEC-FETB (Federation of European Construction Industry); President of ASTAC (Association for the support of Technology and Architecture in Developing Countries) – Turin Polytechnic and Vice President of the International Observatory for Cooperation; member of the jury for the competition announced by IGI (Institute of Large Infrastructures: “An idea for every city”. Author of numerous specialist publications.
