Emanuele Bompan is a journalist and geographer. He deals with climate change, energy, green economy, international politics, American politics.

He lives between Washington DC and Milan. He works with newspapers such as La Stampa, BioEcoGeo, Renewable Matter, Balances, The New Ecology. He has a doctorate in geography and collaborates with ministries, foundations, and think-tanks. It offers consultancy to green start-ups and incubators specialized in clean-tech.

He wrote "Bioarchitecture" (Hachette ed.) And "The world after Paris. The agreement on the climate seen by Italy: perspectives, critical issues and opportunities" (ed. Environment) and "Circular Economy (ed. Environment).

He has won the European Journalism Center Grant four times, once the Middlebury Environmental Journalism Fellowship and was nominated Journalist for Earth 2015. He has reported in 60 countries, both as a journalist and as an analyst.
