Flavio Bazzana is associate professor in the Economy of financial intermediaries and corporate finance at Trento University and has achieved the qualification of full professor. He graduated in Economic Science from Siena University and has furthered his academic education in M. Phil. in Economic Theory and Econometrics at Cambridge University, the specialist Diploma in Bank Disciplines at Siena University, and research doctorate in financial intermediaries, again at Siena University.
He is currently Vice Director of the Economics and Management Department, responsible for teaching and head of the Master of Science in Finance. He teaches corporate finance in the three-year undergraduate course, Investment instruments and derivatives in the Masters course and finance in the degree course.
He has written numerous articles for national magazines (Il Risparmio, Finanza Marketing & Produzione, Banca Impresa Società) and international publications (Economic Notes, European Journal of Operational Research, Financial Theory and Practice, European Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Banking and Finance, The Journal of Financial Management, Markets and Institutions, The Journal of Behavioural Finance) and for various publishers (Cedam, Bancaria Editrice, Carocci, Elsevier, Springer).
He has worked for Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige and has been consultant to the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige, for banks and financial intermediaries. He was also director of PensPlan Invest SGR.
