Bryden Wood, a multidisciplinary practice, received a mandate from the British Government for the development of a construction innovation strategy. In recent years it has focused on the study of off-site technical platforms, new generation construction systems capable of breaking down different real estate products into families of standardised and industrialised components. An approach that can significantly reduce time, costs and meet the needs of housing and new schools in England. Is it possible to assume the adoption of platforms to respond to the new demands of the construction market for Italy too? After several reports, a workshop offered to REbuild participants and a direct confrontation with the community, Mauro Burgio, Director of Bryden Wood Limited, came to a very clear conclusion.
