Ezio Micelli is currently an associate professor of Estimo since 2006 at the IUAV University of Venice and has been qualified as an ordinary professor in the spring of 2014. The topics of his research are related to the economic-financial evaluation of plans and projects and of public / private partnership instruments. He has published for national magazines (Values and evaluations, Aestimum, Estimo e territorio, Urbanistica, Urbanistica Informazioni, Archives of urban and regional studies, Regional Sciences, Economics and Regional Society) and international (Construction Management and Economics, Urban Studies, Etudes foncières, Espace et Sociétés). He has carried out numerous assignments on topics related to the research carried out and, in particular, has participated in the working group for Variante 200, a project promoted by the Municipality of Turin, and he has studied studies for the implementation of the Government Plan of the Territory of Milan. , of the Structural Plan of the Municipality of Bologna and that of Ravenna. He took part in the drafting of the second version of the Code of Real Estate Evaluations of Tecnoborsa and took part in the translation of the Red Book of RICS in its Italian version (2009 edition). He has held several institutional positions directly related to the scientific activity and, in particular, he was Assessor for the development of the territory and the private building branches of the Municipality of Venice (2010-2013) after having been president of IVE, the development company real estate of the City of Venice (2005-2010). He was a member of the "Urban Renewal" working group which, on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, prepared the first draft of the national urban reform bill and the guidelines for urban regeneration programs; has collaborated with the Piedmont Region for the preparation of the new regional planning law for what concerns the implementation tools of the plans and has prepared the draft of the Guidance Act of the Veneto Region on the topics of equalization, building credits and agreements public-private.
