Gianni Silvestrini is president of the Italian Green Building Council, scientific director of the Kyoto Club and of the QualEnergia magazine/portal. He is author of numerous scientific articles, coordinates the Masters course – Ridef, Reinventing Energy at Milan Polytechnic. He won the 2001 European solar prize. He has covered the role of managing director at the Ministry for the Environment and advisor for renewable resources for Pier Luigi Bersani’s Economic Development Ministry. He is chairman of Exalto, a new green economy company. He is chairman of the FREE coordination and has recently published the book: “2°C (TWO DEGREES) environment edition, Radical innovations to win the climate challenge and transform the economy,” which is receiving excellent reviews from the critics.
